Tarn Hows in The English Lake District
Tarn Hows has to be one of the most beautiful areas in the country, originally owned by Beatrix Potter she sold part of the estate to the National Trust in 1930 and eventually bequeathed the rest to the Trust in her will.
An absolute privilege to be there when the sun drops behind the Langdale Pikes, few tourists wait around for this pleasure. The area is designated as a 'Site of Special Scientific Interest'. This image is made from 7 photographs and is half a gigabyte in size producing a highly detailed image.
